If you’ve been an FTC regular for a while you may remember the swag bags we used to give away to the first 100 customers through the door on our special day, but in order to prioritize the health and safety of our community during the COVID19 pandemic, and subsequent couple of years, we made the choice to pause these giveaways. This year we decided to BRING THE BAGS BACK, baby! We reached out to our incredible array of vendors, and can assure you that these bags will be stuffed with goodies of all sorts!
In addition to the very exciting return of our goodie bags, we’ve got a few more tantalizing tidbits to offer this year...
As is our tradition, we’re offering a new limited edition anniversary tee shirt, in two colorways! Following our theme of “Lucky 17” it’s covered with all kinds of lucky charms, and sure to bring good things your way.
All purchases made in store and online on July 15th (from 12am- 11:59pm) will receive a free FTC pencil, limit 1 per customer while supplies last.
All purchases of $25 or more (online and in-store) will receive a free limited edition notebook. These cuties are the perfect size to keep in your project bags! Again, limit 1 per customer while supplies last.
We’ve also got some new tote bags printed. Great for groceries, projects, and anything else that needs to be schlepped, grab yours while we’ve got ‘em! In case that wasn’t enough fun, we’ll also have new wash-away FTC embroidery transfers with tons of cute designs ready and waiting to be added to anything you could possibly want to embroider (or visibly mend). Tattoo your clothes!
And for a real sweet treat, Ali Pate of Road Trip Sock Yarn has an exclusive new yarn for us, inspired by one of our favorite summer fruits, sure to be a refreshing choice for any summer stitching. This year instead of offering classes during the party, we decided to do some demos! From 11 to 3:30 join us for sewing, serger, weaving and spinning demos. Our wonderful staff and instructors will be here to demonstrate some of the machines we sell and answer any questions you may have about them. See demo schedule and descriptions below:
11:00 -12:00 pm: Wheel Spinning with Pink
- Learn about the traditional art of spinning yarn using a spinning wheel with Pink! See how awesome and fun wheels are before investing in one of your own.
12:30 pm -1:30 pm: Serger Machine with Katrina
- Are you curious about how a serger works? Come and try it out for yourself! Instructor Katrina will show you the magic!
