Fancy Gathering Knit-along Wrap-up

We recently hosted a KAL for the Eyen hat when we were in Portland Maine teaching at A Gathering of Stitches! We wanted to promote all things Portland and the Eyen hat seemed perfect. This hat is designed by Portland-based designer, Bristol Ivy and is knit in Quince and Co. Osprey. Quince and Company is also based out of Portland and their US grown yarn is milled and dyed in Maine - Eyen was the perfect Maine project!

Modifications: none

We also picked this project because it knit up in no time in the aran weight Osprey on size 10.5 needles. Most of our retreat participants were able to finish this hat in the long weekend that we were together. We hosted a couple of knitting nights at the retreat including one that was open up to non-retreat locals. We loved getting to know the Portland knitting community!
