Winters Beach Cardi Knit-Along 2022

Have you seen the amazing collaboration between Hedgehog Fibres and Madelinetosh yet? The two industry-leading indie dyers have worked together to create beautiful, sustainable yarn in two limited edition colorways. The rainbow flecks are thread waste from Madelinetosh, and 37.5% is recycled wool, which combined with the non-super wash faulkland make for a wonderfully soft yarn that blooms beautifully after a wash. We are so thrilled to be one of only nine stockists globally for the gorgeous Tweedy collaboration, so much so that we just had to use it as inspiration for our fall sweater knit along! And a gorgeous, unique yarn deserves a gorgeous, unique pattern, so we’ve decided on the Winters Beach Cardi by Andrea Mowry. 

Winters Beach is an oversized, cabled cardigan meant to be worn open. Designed for the original HHF Tweedy yarn, it’s a perfect compliment to the two limited edition collaboration colorways, Dreaming In Light and Future Reflections. The cables and textured stitches make it a fun knit, and the pockets and comfortable fit make it easy to wear. It’s also size inclusive, with finished bust measurements from 39.5”-69.75” meant to be worn with 6”-10” of positive ease.
