Me Made May 2016 Wrap Up

If you follow Fancy Tiger on Instagram, you know that we have been doing a collective Me Made May with the staff and teachers. We love this month every year because it pushes us to wear as many of our wonderful handmade garments as we can. Plus we get to see what everybody is making and wearing. Such a great celebration of handmade!

Fancy Tiger has an amazingly talented and passionate staff and I think Me Made May really shows that off! Everybody participated this year and we ended up showcasing some pretty awesome handmade stuff. Everyone is so unique so it is really exciting to see how everybody styles their handmade items. Such variety!

Here are just a few of our featured staff makes. To get the details on all 31 of them, check out our instagram or search for the hashtag #fancymmmay!

We think that Jaime's turquoise Cabin Dress by Blueprints for Sewing in solid double gauze is the perfect light spring dress.

If you live in Colorado, you know that wearing your hand knit hats in May is totally reasonable sometimes. We are so glad too because that means we got to see Kelly's Halus Hat made with Madelinetosh's Tosh DK in Embers.

We can't get enough of Miranda's awesomely outrageous dresses! She truly outdid herself with this Christine Haynes Emery Dress with circle skirt addition in Charley Harper purple Octopus fabric.

Finally, newest Tigress Laura wore her first ever sewn garment on the very last day of May! This adorable Tiny Pocket Tank from Grainline Studio is the absolute perfect starter project and looks fantastic on her!

Thanks for following along all month. We hope you enjoyed seeing all of our handmade things as much as we enjoyed wearing them.
