Size Made: 6
Materials Used: Zola Double Gauze Fabric in Taupe
Modifications:
I modified this pattern so the rise sits at 13” and the Inseam 24." I also made the pockets hidden in the side seam. I made these modifications just to try something different with a style I’ve already sewn.

I think this style of pant is very versatile and comfy plus because the pattern is relatively quick and painless, this project was a no brainer. I was captivated by the double gauze, its a fabric I am familiar with and LOVE. It's simple, yet elevates the vibe and turns any pattern into a cozy and stylish garment.

Not only was I drawn to the fabric because of its nature, I also have been wanting to update my wardrobe with some more thoughtful pieces. I've been striving to slow down my closet by working on adding items that come from love and practice, not trends or what's being advertised to me. I like adding items to my wardrobe that are versatile. These pants hit that button for me because they are light weight enough for warmer seasons but can be layered with a long underwear for the cooler months!
