Judy's Taimi Dress!

This is a new pattern by Named Clothing and when we first got it into the shop I loved the shape of it but didn’t have a fabric in mind until the new Cloud 9 Batistes showed up. I was immediately attracted to all of the prints and knew any of them would look good as the Taimi!

This pattern is definitely beginner + with the application of bias binding being the most difficult skill you’ll need. The pattern is super easy for any level but if you are an experienced sewist you’ll definitely be able to finish this dress in one sitting.

This is turning out to be the perfect summer dress. The lightweight fabric and flowiness of the skirt is very comfortable even on hot days. I’d even be tempted to make a second one out of one of the other batiste patterns we got in as  this one is going to be in heavy rotation on its own.
