I love Colorado in the summer time. I love to get outside and enjoy a hike, or a picnic or some yoga on a cool evening. This tank is the perfect breezy top to enjoy all of these things this summer.
I really love the shape of the Adventure Tank. The racer back version is perfect for a hike or work out of any kind and I absolutely love the fabric I chose to make it in. If you haven't worked with this dreamy bamboo jersey, I encourage you to give it a try. It's super soft, slinky, bouncy and breathable and I could wear it all day, everyday.
I'll be honest, working with a jersey this slinky was something I was a bit nervous about, but it sewed up like a dream. I ran into a slight issue when top stitching it with the double needle, but I worked out the kinks by switching to a walking foot. I whipped this awesome tank up in about an hour and a half and now that I've gotten my feet wet I can't wait to make more. I've had my eye on the new shibori dyed rayon jersey that Kaylee made her Adventure Tank in and I'm super excited to make one for a night on the town.
Later today we will be sharing our final Adventure Tank from Jess. Don't miss it!
