Beginner Plus: You have taken a 101 class or equivalent. You are familiar with threading your machine or know basic knit or crochet stitches.
Intermediate: You’ve got a few projects under your belt. You’ve made a few things and are looking to increase your knowledge.
Advanced: You know quite a bit about your chosen craft and you’re ready to take it to the next level.

Learn eco-printing and make your own beautiful, bundle-dyed scarf in this colorful class!
Eco-printing is a natural dye technique that essentially prints botanicals, like flowers, onto fabric and results in colorfast, ephemeral, and unique designs.
In this class, we will use pressed and dried flowers in conjunction with fresh flowers from your bouquets for bundle dyeing directly from flowers. You are encouraged to bring in some fresh or dried flowers to memorialize in color and fabric. Any flowers are welcome, whether gifted for an occasion or not, and everyone is welcome! (Not all flowers will dye, see the list below for recommendations. But this is ok. Using flowers from an occasion still imbues some added story and meaning whether they dye or not.)
You will learn about preparing the fabric, bundle dyeing techniques, and post-treatment to leave class with one-of-a-kind scarves.

(You will have enough dyestuff in your kit to still complete a project if you are not able to bring fresh flowers. This is just encouraged as a way to add a personal touch if you wish.)
