A natural ecru Indian cotton with black, blue, yellow and red floral motifs, Jamdani is fine muslin cotton with small geometric motifs handwoven in to the cloth as if they are floating on the surface. Jamdani is a highly skilled weaving technique that has been practiced in India for centuries. This cloth comes alive once washed, it gets much softer and has a beautiful slub and texture.
This is fairly sheer so you’d need to wear something underneath or line it if you were making clothing. It would make a beautiful dress with lots of gathers.
Motif size: 2.5cm x 2.5cm.
