Class meets: 11am - 5pm on the 4th Sunday of each month (with a few exceptions), Jan-Dec 2022
Learn about slow fashion and make your own capsule wardrobe in this year-long sewing workshop. You will meet for 6 hours on the 4th Sunday of each month to cover the basics of planning and making your own clothing, and get assistance in choosing your own patterns and fabrics to fit you and your wardrobe.
Each class will cover a particular sewing technique, with skills building throughout the year. Since you pick your own patterns, this class can be flexible to different skill levels from a motivated beginner sewist to an experienced sewist and is open to all genders. Production depends on your commitment-students should expect to commit to the whole year of classes and be willing to work 5-15 hours a week on their own in order to complete projects. Students will have access to Fancy Tiger's sewing studio, at no additional cost, to complete their homework and can enjoy 15% off their purchases for class.
Signing up for this class is a year long commitment. If you choose the monthly payment plan, you will be billed every month in the amount of $125. There will be no refunds for missed classes. You will still have access to the classroom and your class discount for the month you might miss. The instructor will be available to answer questions via email. Pre-pay for the year and get a $250 discount! (If monthly payments are the only option remaining, please sign up to secure your seat! Leave a note at checkout and we can invoice you the balance.)

About Your Instructor:
Christina Patzman comes from a long line of seamstresses and jokes that
she learned how to sew in her mother's womb. Her grandmother was a
dressmaker for 40 years and taught Christina clothing design and sewing
with a hands-on and practical approach. Christina started making
clothing while in junior high and continued designing and sewing
throughout high school. She studied apparel design in college –
receiving a BA in Apparel Design in 1991. Christina has had several
lines of clothing that have sold both locally and nationally. This
included a retail store in Cherry Creek, Denver. Christina has been
teaching sewing classes at Fancy Tiger Crafts since 2008, and especially
loves helping students with garment design and construction.
