This design is a variation on the classic Lone Star Quilt and is a simplified version of the Big Sky Star Quilt.
Skill Level:
Confident Beginner - This is a good quilt pattern for someone who has made 1 or 2 quilts and wants to move on to cutting and sewing on a bias. This pattern requires beginner quilting knowledge. The pattern assumes quilter has knowledge of basic piecing and can sew with a consistent 1/4" seam.
Includes instructions for Baby, Throw, and Bed sizes as square sizes, as well as instructions and fabric requirements to add optional borders.
Baby (43" x 43" or 43" x 52")
Throw (60" x 60" or 60" x 70")
Bed (80" x 80" or 80" x 105")
The pattern includes 5 color version options with fabric requirements, instructions, and examples for each version.
Unlike most Lone Star Quilts, there are no Y seams in this quilt pattern.
