Foam mats are the perfect choice to keep costs down as a beginner needle felter!
The 5 x 5 mat is a nice little foam mat for small projects, and also a great travel sized mat if you like to take small projects along with you to work on away from home.
The 10 x 10 mat is a nice size foam mat that is big enough for most projects. This is the size we recommend to use with Felted Sky Coloring and Sculpting With Wool kits.
Both mats are 2 inches thick.
Keep in mind a firm foam mat will hold up awhile (depending on the types of projects you're doing) but will need to be replaced once it starts to break down.
