Beginner: No experience necessary — we’ll teach you everything!
Beginner Plus: You have taken a 101 class or equivalent. You are familiar with threading your machine or know basic knit or crochet stitches.
Intermediate: You’ve got a few projects under your belt. You’ve made a few things and are looking to increase your knowledge.
Advanced: You know quite a bit about your chosen craft and you’re ready to take it to the next level.

Have you always wanted to learn to hem your own jeans? If so, this is the class for you!
The first part of the class will focus on 2 different denim hemming concepts; simple cut shortening hem and original hem finish - where you shorten above the original hem of jeans. Then you will practice the concepts by hemming your own pants.
Prior to class, have the pair of jeans you want to alter pinned to desired length or desired inseam measurement.
If your denim hem requires an unusual thread, please bring it to class.
