The Badwater Hat uses a 1x1 rib punctuated by tiny cables to create the perfect one-size-fits all hat. The subtle texture brings just a bit of interest to a classic style beanie, and looks great on everyone. The furrows and nubs remind me of a recent visit to Death Valley’s
Badwater Basin, and the expanse of the bright salt flats crunching under my feet.
Materials: 1 skein Knerd String Worsted Weight
Finished Size: One size-adult unisex (this very stretchy knit fits most)
9” x 18” circumference (stretches to fit 18” - 25” head)
Gauge: 27 sts & 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in 1x1 rib stitch
