Workshop takes place Sunday, November 11th from 11am - 2pm
In this class with Andrea Mowry of DreaRenee Knits, you will begin playing around two color brioche. When working brioche in two colors, a whole new world of color play is opened up to you! Discover how to blend colors and add depth thru contrast. You will also discuss using different fibers and weights together to really mix things up. You will learn how to increase and decrease in brioche, and how it goes far beyond just shaping your fabric, to create the appearance of intricate cables and lace. (It is important that students who sign up for this class are already comfortable with the brioche knit and brioche purl stitches.)
Skill Level: Advanced; Students must be comfortable with the brioche knit and brioche purl stitches. We will do a quick overview- but this is not a beginner class.
Supplies: 2 colors of worsted weight yarn, size US 7 or 8 - 24” to 32” circular needle, locking stitch marker, pen or pencil, highlighter tape is handy!
Due to the limited number of spaces available and crossover content of these classes, we ask that students who sign up for the Brioche classes do not also take Andrea's Harlow Hat class.
