Learn brioche and practice brioche decreases with this beautiful and soft marled beginner-brioche project. Feel free to use yarn scraps! You will be learning how to one-color brioche in the round while holding two strands of yarn together as well as some easy brioche decreases. Brioche is a wonderfully relaxing stitch that is not complicated to learn. You will also learn how to troubleshoot some brioche mistakes. This project creates an incredibly squashy, pretty hat, and you can also have fun with choosing or making a pompom to top it off.

In the first class we will cast on (if you haven't already) and go straight into the brioche stitch. For homework you will continue brioche in the round. In the second class you will learn decreases and crown shaping in brioche in the round. No previous brioche experience necessary!
