Two sessions total:
07/17/22, 2pm - 4pm (Sunday)
07/23/22, 2pm - 4pm (Saturday)
In this two-session class, students will learn the basics of machine quilting. These are the stitches that hold your quilt layers together and add a design element to the quilt. Areas to be covered include choosing batting, layering and basting the quilt, how to choose a quilting design and thread, and straight line and free-motion stitching.
Students should be comfortable using a sewing machine and a rotary cutter, and should have experience in patchwork.
