In creating her first batik collection, Marcia sought out new ways of designing. Nestled in a tattered box of old carving tools she found a small stamp etched from an eraser that I had made years ago. Reassured in finding a familiar place to start, her new marks traveled from my Pacific-North west island to far away Indonesia to have a conversation revolving around color. Marcia hopes you find this collaboration with the artisans of Bali as inspiring as she does!
