Beginner: No experience necessary — we’ll teach you everything!

Beginner Plus:   You have taken a 101 class or equivalent. You are familiar with threading your machine or know basic knit or crochet stitches.

Intermediate: You’ve got a few projects under your belt. You’ve made a few things and are looking to increase your knowledge.

Advanced: You know quite a bit about your chosen craft and you’re ready to take it to the next level.

Class time on 4/10 at 10am MDT is reserved for questions and clarifications. Zoom link will be emailed 1 hour before class begins. Please email if you have not received an email.

Explore all the different ways to finish a seam! This class will cover the following seam finishes: overcast/zig-zagged, pinked, flat-felled, French, turned and stitched, Hong Kong, bias bound and self bound. Achieve professionally finished seams without a serger!

The following materials will be shipped or you can choose curbside pickup:

  • 2 yards bias tape
  • fabric to practice
Additional required materials:
  • iron
  • your sewing machine
