Beginner: No experience necessary — we’ll teach you everything!
Beginner Plus: You have taken a 101 class or equivalent. You are familiar with threading your machine or know basic knit or crochet stitches.
Intermediate: You’ve got a few projects under your belt. You’ve made a few things and are looking to increase your knowledge.
Advanced: You know quite a bit about your chosen craft and you’re ready to take it to the next level.

Become best friends with your rotary cutter and mat in this class! While making a cute, boxy, draw-string bag, you will learn how to measure and cut using the guides on your mat. Learn how to line a bag, attach inner pockets, and sew a casing. The finished bag is perfect to store your works-in-progress - Sarah designed this class for those who knit and sew!
This will be a LIVE zoom class where you will be able to talk to and ask the instructor questions throughout the class! Because of this, we ask that you have basic knowledge of your sewing machine - the instructor may only be able to answer basic machine-related questions.
The class fee includes live instruction and the fabric and drawstring required to make a project bag. Please leave a note at checkout with your preferred color of Calm Flower canvas (white or green). Otherwise, we will choose from what is in stock. Please see below for extra materials you may need!
