Our Picnic Quilt was created to be a quick, simple and beautifully pieced together blanket to make all of your outdoor plans just a little bit more special. This project is an easy dive into quilting and a fun project to mix and match fabrics for a unique make.

Finished size: 54” x 54”

Materials Required:
Fabric Requirements:
  • Color A (center): .53yds or 19”
  • Color B (cross): 1.06 yds or 38”
  • Color C (corners): .53 yds or 19”
  • Color D (corners): .53 yds or 19”

Backing: 1.5 yds 54” wide fabric or 3 yds 45”
Binding: .38 yds or 13.5”
Coordinating thread
Throw-size Batting

Additional Materials:
Rotary cutter or shears, cutting mat (only if using a rotary cutter), clear ruler (for rotary cutter use), sewing machine, iron, 1/4” machine foot (optional), yarn for ties.
