Beginner: No experience necessary — we’ll teach you everything!

Beginner Plus:   You have taken a 101 class or equivalent. You are familiar with threading your machine or know basic knit or crochet stitches.

Intermediate: You’ve got a few projects under your belt. You’ve made a few things and are looking to increase your knowledge.

Advanced: You know quite a bit about your chosen craft and you’re ready to take it to the next level.

Three class sessions total:
05/28/22, 1pm - 4pm 
06/11/22, 1pm - 4pm

06/18/22, 12pm - 4pm

Become a quilter! This class will introduce you to all of the skills needed to make a quilt. As you learn how to create this classic, small quilt, you will learn:
  • how to cut with a rotary cutter
  • how to achieve a consistent seam allowance
  • the basics of piecing and machine quilting
  • how to make and applying your own bias binding

Completion of these three sessions will set you up perfectly to move on and take other quilting classes.


Required Materials (not included)
  • 1 yd main fabric & 1/3 yd contrast fabric for quilt top
  • 1 1/4 yds for backing
  • 1/3 yd for binding

  • Batting - Crib size or about 40” square 

Ages 18+

*Please note that for the safety of our community and staff, we require a properly worn mask & ask that all students provide proof of vaccination (either in the form of a vaccination card or a photo of the card) and a photo ID to attend all in-person classes and events.
