As you whiz through your knit, this leopard print pattern will start to show its spots, and then before you know it, TA-DAH – one pair of leopard print socks, as if by magic! Kit contains one 80g ball of yarn (enough for a pair of socks in ladies sizes 6 to 10), and sock pattern.
This design only works with a cast on of 60 stitches. This sock is worked from the cuff down, working as a tube, then one will add the heel in at the end. The heel and toe are worked in the same way. Once in the main section, the knitter will see the leopard print spots appear as they work. If the leopard print design is leaning to the left, they are knitting too tightly, if they are leaning to the right, they are knitting too loosely. To help get the correct tension, a small stripe section in stocking stitch is added. It is important that the stripe should be exactly 1 round of knitting, if it is longer than 1 round, the knitter should go up a needle size. If it is shorter than 1 round, they should go down a needle size. Recommended needle sizes are US 1 (2.25mm), US 1.5 (2.5mm), or US 2 (2.75mm) depending on your tension.
