You will learn two-color increases and decreases in brioche! Make a beautiful and functional winter-weather hat that also includes the knitting techniques of working in the round and seaming. This hat is an engaging knit that will build your technical skills and whet your appetite for creative color combinations.

NOTE: Before the first class starts, on page 5 please complete sections “BRIM LINER”, “DECREASE ROUND”, and “PLACE MARKERS”. You will bring in the beginning of your hat, ready to embark upon learning two-color brioche in the round in “BRIOCHE”.

In the second class we will cover increases and decreases in brioche, and in the final class we will cover crown shaping and finishing.

You must know how to knit; previous experience with brioche is desirable but not necessary.
