As soon as I realized that this newly printed pattern by Allie Olson was drafted for both B and D cup sizes, I knew I needed to make one. No fear of the dreaded bust/armpit gaping with this tank! The shape is classic, a little reminiscent of a men’s undershirt, written succinctly and with beautiful, professional-looking, finishing techniques. It is also a very quick sew- perfect for an afternoon at home.

Enter the Bamboo Cotton Stretch (baby) Rib. I love this fabric. It is so soft and has the perfect drape and weight for pieces that can be layered or worn on their own. For this tank I chose the natural colorway to go with my hot-off-the-machine bright tomato culottes; I made these pants on a whim, not really thinking about what I would wear them with, just knowing that I needed them on my body. Luckily my new buttery natural Kila Tank is a match made in creamsicle heaven.
