Amber's FAR Hjarn

Many of you have been asking and waiting and hoping and dreaming and the day is finally here! Our newest knitting pattern, the Hjarn hat is now available as an individual PDF download here on our website as well as on Ravelry!

Amber designed this pattern for us last year and up until now, it has only been available in our Hjarn Hat Kits. They have been so popular and we have just loved seeing all the dreamy colorwork hats you have been working on. Over the past several months we had many of you request this pattern become available outside of the kits. We decided it was time to give the people what they want!

Materials: Woolfolk FAR in Champagne 18, Dusk 19, and Natural 00

We absolutely love Alafoss Lopi and think the Hjarn pattern works perfectly with the sturdy Icelandic wool. Just for fun, Amber decided to try the pattern in a yarn that is basically the complete opposite of Lopi, Woolfolk's Ultimate Merino FAR. This ultra soft and squishy yarn has great stitch definition and the chain plied construction lends itself well to this textured, colorwork hat. If Alafoss is the everyday, rugged hard-working Hjarn, FAR is luxurious, fluffy comfort.

Three skeins of Far will yield three hats in alternating color combinations when you use each color once as the main color or your hats. Team up with all of your crafty pals and have the plushest coordinating hats in town.
