Expanded Size Range coming soon for FTC Patterns

We are aware of and have been listening to the conversations in the crafting community regarding size inclusivity. Our current sewing pattern size range goes up to a 46” bust and we realize that this does not account for the range of beautiful bodies in the world. To all the folks who have felt excluded and have been unable to make our patterns, we apologize.
We have been working with our grader to extend our size range. We want to get it right, so we are taking time to test and fit, but we wanted to update you about what is happening behind the scenes at Fancy Tiger.

In the next few months we will be re-releasing the first of our published patterns, the Sailor Top, as well as an all new pattern that is yet to be announced. Our new size range will go from 0 - 30, for bust sizes 32” - 56”.

Next on the list of releases is the rest of our lineup of patterns - Fen, Brome, Adventure Tank, and Wanderlust Tee - which will also be available soon in our updated range of sizes. We plan to add a little something to each of the patterns, inspired by our favorite pattern hacks for each pattern.

We welcome feedback and thoughts as we work towards more inclusivity in our patterns!

I love that Fancy Tiger is expanding its range to be more inclusive! However, I tend to see “extended sizes” (in the sewing community) to mean only one end of the spectrum. It would be great to see extended sizes for petite women, too, i.e. 00 for bust size 30”.

This is wonderful news I bought Fen a while ago to make for my daughter but I would love to make one for myself, this is exciting.

Thank you for extended sizes! I already own the Fen dress pattern. Will I be able to get extended sizes for it or will I need to buy a new pattern?
