Join us on a Wool Journey!

We are pleased to introduce you to our first knitting book, Wool Journey: Shetland. It has been a joy to create and we are so excited to finally share it with you! This book is part travel guide, part memoir--capturing our favorite recommendations and stories from a trip in which five self-described "wool nerds" explore the Shetland Islands. We traveled with dear friends Ysolda Teague, Stephen West, and Malia Mae Joseph, who all had a hand in creating this sweet book with Jaime and Amber.

Wool Journey: Shetland Book Release

Wool Journey: Shetland includes a travel essay by our own Jaime Jennnings, who shares some of the magic and woolly wonder of these islands in the North Sea. Five knitting patterns are included, written by Malia, Stephen and our own Amber Corcoran, and each is inspired by the yarns, landscapes and knitting traditions of the island. Photos by Ysolda and the other travelers document the journey, the knits, and the stunning landscapes of Shetland. Darling illustrations by Maggia Chiang capture knitting traditions and the people who make a livelihood from the islands' wool. Included is an intro from Ella Gordon, native Shetlander, knitting designer, and proponent of true Shetland wool.
