Brome is Here! + Brome-along Giveaway

Brome is finally here! It has been a labor of love, but our most challenging and versatile pattern yet is now available as both a printed version and PDF download. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Now that the pattern is out we want to jump right in and start a sew-along…or a Brome-along ;) complete with giveaway! (Details at the bottom) In a couple of weeks we will be releasing a few tutorial videos to help you through the process, but in the meantime, we want to give you a chance to gather up some materials. If you are still trying to decide exactly which Brome you want to make we have a ton of helpful information about the different views here and sample Bromes that our friends and us have made here. Plus a few of our staff members are letting you in on their dream Bromes to help get the juices flowing!

Tea length View C with placket removed and neck finished with facing in Royal Navy Natural Fine Line Twill

Ambers Natural Twill Brome

"I am inspired by one of our test sewers to make a tea length version of the Brome. This silky, shiny cotton fabric will give the Brome a bit more of a fancy vibe. The neck of the pattern is just wide enough to fit over my head without unbuttoning, so removing the placket and finishing the neck with a facing or bias tape is an easy alteration. I think it will add to the sleek look of my garment. This little number will be my evening Brome!"

Caitlin

A sleeveless version of View B in Tropical Stems

“With the hot summer months ahead, I'm dreaming of a lightweight and tropical Brome. The Tropical Stems print would make quite a statement, but I'm up for it! This soft lawn is slightly see-through, so I may play around with underlining for the perfect, island-worthy Brome.”

Jaime's Dream Brome

"I decided I need a black tank to balance all the color of my other Bromes ;) I have some new washed black jean shorts on the way and this seems like the perfect compliment for some summertime relaxing."

Kaylee

A sleeveless version of View A in Nani Iro Linen Sheeting- Camino

Kaylee's Linen Brome

“This stunning Nani Iro fabric is subtle enough to be a basic, but there is certainly nothing basic about it! I think a sleeveless Brome shirt out of this lovely linen sheeting would fit perfectly into my summer wardrobe, get worn with tons of regularity, and keep me cool and breezy to boot!”
